I am a contemporary art historian based in Amsterdam, working as an independent writer.

Throughout my career, I’ve written for several cultural magazines in the Netherlands, including 3voor12 and the Groninger Museum.

Occasionally, I also give talks, curate shows, or give guided tours through the Van Gogh Museum, the Rijksmuseum, Huis Marseille (museum for photography), and the city of Amsterdam.

Deeply passionate about the power of art, my work focuses on communicating the inventive thoughts and stories of artists. This allows artists to concentrate on their creative process while I ensure their visions are conveyed to a broader audience.

A significant part of my writing revolves around digital art, which I find fascinating within the possibilities of web3. I’ve written for several cultural magazines, platforms, DAO’s and collectives alike, such as Culture3, Right Click Save, Nifty Gateway, PROOF.xyz, Transient Labs, Highlight, Art On Internet, and Foam Magazine, besides working with individual artists and collectors.

In January 2025, I founded WHITE MIRROR – an online cultural magazine dedicated to uncovering the most meaningful web3 art projects and their creators, by providing in-depth insights, critical analysis, and art historical context.

Currently, I’m the content strategist for SILK – an art house in the digital age,
and contributor for Electric Chronicles.

I’d love to connect and tell relevant stories to the world.
